Whisker Litter-Robot 5 Pro
Whisker Litter-Robot 5 Pro is a rotating globe box for cats of 3 to 30 lb, by the maker's figures. Its sources claim 5 of the 6 safety layers: weight sensor, entry sensor, anti-pinch, cycle delay and stop button. Not found in the sources yet: open entry. The brand says it cleans without Wi-Fi. Its sources give two different figures for the drawer lasts, one cat, the depth, the height and the minimum cat weight; the spec sheet shows both, and lists use the more cautious one.

Video from Litter-Robot, the brand's own YouTube channel, shown so you can see the mechanism move. It is the brand's advertising, not a source for any value on this page, and it may mention prices or offers we do not check. Open on YouTube

When it acts up
From the troubleshooting section of the manual, in plain words.
LED blinks yellow
Why: Attention needed: waste drawer almost full, filter due, or WiFi connection lost.
What to do: Check the LCD screen; empty the drawer or replace the filter, then press Cancel. After a WiFi outage the unit reconnects by itself.[1]
LED blinks red and the robot stops cycling
Why: The waste drawer is full (detected on three cycles in a row) or the drawer was removed.
What to do: Empty or reinstall the drawer, press Cancel to clear the alert, then short-press Cancel to zero the SmartScale.[1]
False 'drawer full' warning
Why: The liner rides above the drawer sides, or a dark bag or white/translucent litter confuses the sensor.
What to do: Push the bag below the rim, use a white bag, avoid translucent or white litter.[1]
