Meowant MW-SC01 troubleshooting

The Meowant MW-SC01 is a rotating drum box. The steps below are the manufacturer's own; if a step involves opening the unit, check the warranty first.
The litter box will not connect to the phone
Why: Wrong Wi-Fi network or password, a 5 GHz network, weak signal, or the box is already paired with another device.
What to do: Use a 2.4 GHz network (or a phone hotspot) and the correct password, keep the box within router range, and reset it by holding the Clean and Flatten buttons together for 5 seconds, then repeat the 'Using With APP' steps.[1]
The drum does not turn or stops suddenly
Why: Something is stuck at the gear of the base, the drum is not seated properly, or the drum stopped on purpose because a cat, extra weight or an object was detected.
What to do: Unplug, lift out the drum and remove anything at the base gear, seat the drum properly and plug it back in. If a cat or object was detected, it resumes once the cat leaves or the weight or object is removed.[1]
Waste is not cleared out
Why: The deodorization cover is blocked by the liner, litter or waste.
What to do: Open the waste bin cover and remove whatever is blocking it.[1]
The box does not weigh the cat
Why: The box is not on a firm, level surface with all four feet level.
What to do: Unplug, place it on a firm level surface with all four feet even, plug it back in and weigh again.[1]
