The CATLINK Scooper Young Pro-X is a rotating globe box. The steps below are the manufacturer's own; if a step involves opening the unit, check the warranty first.
Error light is on and the globe will not rotate
Why: Cat protection (weighing protection) has been triggered.
What to do: Make sure the cat is safe and out of the globe, then press Clean/Pause once to cancel the protection state.[1]
Error light flashes
Why: The waste drawer is full.
What to do: Replace the trash liner; then press Clean/Pause once if the unit stopped.[1]
Unit stopped after the anti-pinch protection fired
Why: The anti-pinch device triggered with the litter outlet facing down; it only clears with human intervention.
What to do: Remove the obstruction, then press Clean/Pause once.[1]
Unit stops working in Auto mode
Why: The weight scale needs calibration.
What to do: Clear objects around it on flat ground, unplug and re-plug; when the globe starts rotating put a 3.3 lb item (3 bottles of 16.9 fl oz water) inside, long-press the setting button until 5 beeps; done when it beeps and the Manual light goes off.[1]
