CATLINK Scooper Luxury Pro-X (CL-07/CL-08) troubleshooting
5 problems the manual covers, with the cause and the fix it gives.
This is a rotating globe box. The steps below are the manufacturer's own; if a step involves opening the unit, check the warranty first.
The globe stopped mid-cycle (radar or weight protection, or full waste drawer)
Why: Something moved or added weight inside during rotation, or the drawer is full.
What to do: Clear the cause, then press Clean/Pause once to cancel the stop.1
The globe stopped after the anti-pinch protection fired
Why: The anti-pinch device triggered; it only clears with human intervention.
What to do: Remove the obstruction, then press Clean/Pause once.1
The litter amount shown is inaccurate
Why: The litter level reference is off.
What to do: Empty all litter, long-press Mode until 2 beeps, then immediately long-press Mode again until 2 beeps to reset litter to zero.1
Weighing data is inaccurate
Why: The scale needs calibration.
What to do: Power off and restart; when the globe starts turning put a 3.3 lb item (e.g. 3 bottles of 16.9 fl oz water) inside and long-press Mode until two beeps; done when the Mode light stays on and it beeps.1
Wi-Fi pairing fails
Why: 5 GHz or certified networks, special characters in the network name, or distance from the router.
What to do: Use 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with a letters/numbers name, keep phone and unit near the router, power-cycle and retry, then contact support.1
