CATLINK Scooper Pro Ultra (CL-CG-01) troubleshooting

6 problems the manual covers, with the cause and the fix it gives.

This is a rotating globe box. The steps below are the manufacturer's own; if a step involves opening the unit, check the warranty first.

No automatic cleaning in sensor or timer mode

Why: Waste bin is full, or the unit is unlevel/obstructed or the scale is off.

What to do: Replace the bag if the bin is full; otherwise make the unit stable and level, clear obstructions and run weight calibration.1

Full-bin alert while the bin is empty

Why: Dirty sensor panels on the bin sides.

What to do: Remove the bin and clean the panels on both sides.1

Inaccurate weighing

Why: Unit not on a level, solid surface or needs calibration.

What to do: Level the unit, then calibrate in the app (More Settings > Weight Calibration) or on the device with a 1.5 kg reference.1

Solid red light

Why: Motor stall protection: motor resistance rose during rotation.

What to do: Check nothing blocks the globe, then press start to reset.1

Both lights flash together

Why: Anti-pinch protection: object at the litter outlet.

What to do: Remove the object and press start to reset.1

Blurry camera image or wrong litter level

Why: Dust or stains on the camera lens.

What to do: Wipe the lens gently with a soft cloth.1
